AN Introduction

Hi there fan and music lover,

Lee Vasey here, I thought I'd give you a fascinating insight of my life so far:

I was born into a poor, but respectable working class family. My ma used to tell me the tale of the midwife who delivered me, smacking my bottom to start me crying and then smacked me in the face, when my ma asked why she did this, she replied, she wasn't sure which end was which.

As I've already said, we were poor, but proud, when I reached the age of four ma managed to get me a job. Even my first job was in showbiz, working with an organ grinder. The money wasn't much to speak of but the bananas helped eat out our supplies.

I guess I was about six when I realised the effect my singing voice had on people, memories woudl come flooding back to them. Memories like, they had a dental appointment, or, they had left the chip pan on, or, they were late for a funeral.

It was then that I decided to make music my life. My loving parents were supportive, suggesting that I should go on the road to further my career... to America, Japan, or even Afganistan. However this was impractical at the time as I was only six years old.
